Dexcom’s Digital Health Ecosystem

Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems connect to more insulin pumps, pens, and digital health apps than any other CGM brand.1  In fact, Dexcom's growing ecosystem consists of 90+ partners, including over 50 digital health apps.*1

By seamlessly integrating Dexcom CGM data, connected apps provide patients with greater convenience and enhanced options for utilizing their glucose data.  They can also give healthcare providers a more comprehensive view of patient health.

Studies have shown that Dexcom CGM connected with digital health apps can help increase time in range.2, 3,4, 5

Given these benefits, it's not surprising that health apps are used by a large number of patients. 58% of patients with type 1 diabetes and 40% of patients with type 2 diabetes who own a smartphone use a health app to manage their condition.6

The widespread adoption and proven benefits of digital health apps underscore a significant opportunity for healthcare providers to integrate these tools into their clinical practice.

The Digital Health Hub

In response to feedback from both patients and healthcare providers, Dexcom developed a new Digital Health Hub that simplifies the process of finding the right diabetes management apps.

This new “digital hub” offers multiple ways for users to browse and find connected health apps. Users can use the search function to find apps or filter by category.

Categories include:

  • Product Type: Dexcom G6 or Dexcom G7
  • Operating System: iOS, Android, or Web
  • App Features: Data sharing, log meals/nutrition, track activity/exercise, and motivation

By filtering through the vast array of available options, users can quickly find the apps that meet their specific needs.

Explore connected apps

Dexcom’s Digital Health Hub is a valuable resource for healthcare providers and their patients.  By exploring connected apps, providers can help patients create a personalized, integrated, and convenient diabetes management plan.
