New Way for Patients to Share Glucose Data with Clarity Clinic

What Healthcare Providers Need to Know About the Clarity Clinic Connection within the Dexcom G7 App:

Through a software update, Dexcom G7 users can now easily share glucose data with the healthcare team through the Dexcom G7 App.* Setting up data sharing is straightforward, and once connected, the data transfer is automatic. This new, simplified method of sharing glucose data ensures that you have the most up-to-date information to support your patients. †

How Patients Can Start Sharing Data Through the Dexcom G7 App  

Provide your patient with your Clarity Clinic Code and encourage the Dexcom user to follow these simple steps.

To Begin Sharing Dexcom G7 Data, encourage Dexcom users to:

  1. Open the Dexcom G7 App: Open the Dexcom G7 app on their smartphone.
  2. Navigate to Connections: Tap on the Connections tab within the app.
  3. Select Clarity Clinic: Choose the Clarity Clinic option and tap “Continue”.
  4. Enter Clinic Code: Input the Clarity Clinic Code (provided by healthcare provider).
  5. Confirm Details: Verify the clinic details and tap “Done” to complete the setup.

Providers can also share the Dexcom Help Page: "Setting up Dexcom Clarity” which provides step-by-step instructions on how to start sharing their data with the G7 App.

Once these steps are completed, your patient’s Dexcom G7 data will be shared with your clinic automatically. This connection allows continuous glucose data transfer and remains active until the patient or clinician decides to stop sharing. This same simplified data sharing experience is coming soon to Stelo by Dexcom.
