Rachael Sood, RN, MSN, NP-C, CDCES

Rachael Sood, RN, MSN, NP-C, CDCES, is a diabetes nurse practitioner in Mandeville, Louisiana. She is the owner and operator of The Diabetes Collective, the first and only dedicated diabetes clinic in southern Louisiana, providing full-service specialized diabetes care. Ms. Sood’s business was launched in an effort to bring advanced diabetes care to her hometown using direct care models, technology integration, and updated practice tools and techniques that the rural region had never seen. She also serves as a nursing instructor for the Louisiana State University School of Nursing and was honored in 2024 by the Louisiana State Nurses Association as one of the top "40 under 40" trailblazing nurses recognized for revolutionizing patient care, driving innovations, and inspiring their peers. Ms. Sood is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified diabetes care and education specialist.
